Η τεχνη της μελισσοθεραπειας ειναι ακομη(;) αγνωστη στην Ελλαδα, δεδομενου οτι ολες οι υπολοιπες εναλλακτικες θεραπειες, ειναι αρκετα ανεπτυγμενες και διαδεδομενες στον εναλλακτικο χωρο. Καποιος μπορει να βρει ενα σωρο θεραπευτων που ασκουν, ακομη και την πιο «παλαβη» εναλλακτικη θεραπευτικη τεχνη, αλλα για μελισσοθεραπεια...ουτε λογος! Γιατι βρε παιδια...?
Οταν πρωτοξεκινησα να σπουδαζω μελισσοθεραπεια, ενας γνωστος θεραπευτης του χωρου και καλος φιλος, μου ειπε: «Μελισσοθεραπεια?...καλα εισαι παλαβος?»...Για λιγο παγωσα, αλλα δεν σχολιασα. Καταλαβα πως δεν ηξερε τι ελεγε, πως ηταν επιρεασμενος απο τα καλοκαιρινα τσιμπηματα των μελισσων, τα οποια φοβαται ο περισσοτερος κοσμος! Μακαρι να ηξερε, οτι οταν τον τσιμπαει μια μελισσα, τον τσιμπαει για να τον θεραπευσει, ενω οταν τον τσιμπαει σφιγγα τον τσιμπαει, για να τον τιμωρησει...
Η τεχνη της μελισσοθεραπειας, ουσιαστικα θελει κανα 2-3 αιωνες μελετη ακομα, αφου δεν εχει τεκμηριωθει τοσο καλα οσο οι αλλες μορφες θεραπευτικης, οπως για παραδειγμα η φυτοθεραπεια, η γεμμοθεραπεια, η ομοιοπαθητικη κ.α, και η βιβλιογραφια ειναι κυριολεκτικα ελαχιστη εως αμεληταια! Ισως γι’αυτο να την «σνομπαρουν» οι περισσοτεροι Ελληνες φυσικοι θεραπευτες, ισως γιατι φοβουνται την ερευνα, την πραγματικη μελετη και τον αληθινο πειραματισμο, ισως γιατι φοβουνται την μελισσα και την πολυ σκληρη δουλεια που απαιτει η μελισσοκομια. Ακομη και οι βοτανολογοι-θεραπευτες, σπανια χρησιμοποιουν στην φαρετρα των βοτανων τους το μελι, την προπολη, την γυρη και τον πολτο. Πόσο μαλλον το δηλητηριο?! Πόσο αδικο εχουν! Ελπιζω πως στο μελλον αυτο θα αλλαξει!
Ελπιζω στο μελλον, η μελισσοθεραπεια να γινει ακαδημαικο μαθημα ιατρικης και βιολογιας, να δημιουργηθει κανα μεταπτυχιακο που να αφορα την μελισσοθεραπεια και την φυτοθεραπεια, ελπιζω να δουμε να διακυρησσονται διδακτορικα πανω στην μελισσο-ιατρικη. Ελπιζω τοσο πολλα...?
Ειναι ευχης εργο, το γεγονος οτι μπορει καποιος να μαθει, να μελετησει και να διδαχθει την μελισσοθεραπεια στην Ελλαδα! Τα δυο μερη, στα οποια διδασκεται η μελισσοθεραπεια, ειναι η Ακαδημια Παραδοσιακης Κινεζικης Ιατρικης και το αλλο, εξ’αποστασεως στο internet, η Γερμανικη Ομοσπονδια Μελισσοθεραπειας. Οι γνωσεις που αποκομιζει κανεις απο αυτα τα προγραμματα εκπαιδευσης ειναι συμπληρωματικες και, προσωπικα, τις θεωρω απαραιτητες. Θεωρω, επισης, απαραιτητο το γεγονος οτι ενας μελισσοθεραπευτης θα πρεπει να ειναι γνωστης βασικης φυτοθεραπειας και, βεβαιως, μελισσοκομιας! Ειναι σημαντικο να αναφερω, οτι ενας μελισσοκομος, εκπαιδευμενος ή πρακτικος, δεν εχει καμια σχεση με την μελισσοθεραπεια και σε καμια περιπτωση δεν θα πρεπει να «βαπτιζει» την τεχνη του ως μελισσοθεραπεια!

MAIN GOALS OF AIC
The Apitherapy Internet Course has as main goals to:
• increase the exchange of apitherapy related information between apitherapists
from all over the world;
• teach its students all methods necessary in order to apply apitherapy with
good and very good results;
• teach its students how they can build their own Apitherapy Data Bases, and
their own apitherapy libraries;
• prepare the "ground" for future Apitherapy Clinics or Offices and local
(national) further Apitherapy Courses;
• to teach its students that finally they can better protect Mother-Nature and
Human Beings through Apitherapy.
GENERAL STRUCTURE OF AIC
The Apitherapy Internet Course consists of 100 Lessons presented in 9 modules, on Three Levels.
Each Lesson or group of Lessons are sent to the students via normal E-mail, as an attached Zip-ed Word document.After each level there is a period of questions and free discussions with the goal to better understand and thus memorize what was already studied.The final examination is after Level Three, by which time all students should have a complete understanding of all of the Lessons.The "examination" will consist in a series of 90-100 short questions (about one question per Lesson), sent to each student by e-mail.The students are required to send the answers back to the Course co-ordinator within 24 hours after receipt of the questions. Students who score at least 70% correct answers will receive the "Certificate of Completion".
This certificate will show that the holder has a (very) good theoretical
knowledge of apitherapy.
Before, during or immediately after the course, each student can be helped to affiliate to one or more of the existing Apitherapy Societies and thus learn also the practical aspects of Apitherapy. The practical aspects of Apitherapy (Bee Venom Therapy, special clinical uses of bee products etc.), can be covered by the student participating in "hands-on" practical workshops to be arranged, in co-operation with us in Romania and/or in the countries where the students resides. These workshops will reinforce the strong theoretical knowledge obtained during the Apitherapy Internet Course.The legal aspects of apitherapy will be fully discussed at the end of the Third Level.The general structure of the course is very flexible, thus new Lessons or information can be included depending on requests received from the students.

AIC Thesis
Each student will be asked to write, before the Final Exam, a Thesis of about 30-50 pages, on a subject related to Apitherapy. The Thesis must be sent first as Word.doc and later, after validation, as PowerPoint. The Thesis can be used later on various ways, including during Mass Media interviews or on any communications/lectures/ conferences the graduate will make in the future for his/her local and/or national health practitioners and beekeepers associations.
Final Exam of the Apitherapy Internet Course (general structure)
After 100 Lessons and answers to hundreds of possible questions, the time of final examination will arrive…Εach student will have enough time (24 hours) to give the answers to the 100 possible questions. The questions will be mainly from the given Lessons, but it may touch also non-discussed but related subjects. In order to pass the Exam, one needs at least 70% correct answers. The students who will pass this examination will receive the course's diploma (certification of completion) through normal mail. The students who do not pass this exam first time, will be offered the chance to participate two more times in future similar exams. If after two other tests the student is still unsuccessful, he/she will need to go one more time through all AIC levels as any other new student.
Certification of AIC
The Diploma obtained by a successful final exam student will show interested parties that that student has a strong theoretical bases in apitherapy. Of course, unless the local laws permit it, this diploma does not means that a person which took part to AIC can immediately open an Apitherapy Office or a Clinic! Finally what is important is your desire to learn and to help other people to have a healthier life, not passing examination papers.
3 . Σεμινάριο Μελισσοκομία – Ινστιτουτο Γεωπονικων Επιστημων – Κτημα Συγγρου
Το Ι.Γ.Ε. αναλαμβάνει κάθε χρόνο την πραγματοποίηση μίας σειράς σεμιναρίων βραχείας διάρκειας για την επιμόρφωση σε αγροτικές δραστηριότητες και την περιβαλλοντική ευαισθητοποίηση των πολιτών και ειδικά της νέας γενιάς. Τα σεμινάρια πραγματοποιούνται εντός του Κτήματος Συγγρού, σε αίθουσες του κτιρίου διοίκησης και στην αίθουσα πολλαπλών χρήσεων. Τα θεματα, τα οποια εξεταζονται ειναι τα εξης :
• Η μελισσοκομία στην Ελλάδα, την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και διεθνώς
• Δομή και λειτουργία του εντόμου, συμπεριφορά και βιοοικολογία των τριών
μορφών της μέλισσας και εφαρμογή τους στη μελισσοκομική πράξη.
• Μελισσοκομική χλωρίδα, μελιτογόνα είδη, τεχνητή διατροφή, παραγωγή
βασιλισσών, εχθροί και ασθένειες, δηλητηριάσεις μελισσών
• Τα προϊόντα της κυψέλης, εγκατάσταση και λειτουργία μελισσοκομικής μονάδας
• Ο μελισσοκόμος ως ερευνητής
• Επιδοτήσεις και ενισχύσεις στη μελισσοκομία.
Τα μαθήματα γίνονται δύο φορές την εβδομάδα, απογευματινές ώρες (17.00-20.00). Η συνολική διάρκεια κάθε σεμιναρίου είναι 100 ώρες (4 μήνες). Στη διάρκεια των μαθημάτων γίνονται θεωρητικές εισηγήσεις καθώς και πρακτική εξάσκηση, ενώ μοιράζονται σημειώσεις και βιβλία. Μετά την επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση του κύκλου των σεμιναριακών μαθημάτων χορηγείται πιστοποιητικό παρακολούθησης.

AIC Thesis
Each student will be asked to write, before the Final Exam, a Thesis of about 30-50 pages, on a subject related to Apitherapy. The Thesis must be sent first as Word.doc and later, after validation, as PowerPoint. The Thesis can be used later on various ways, including during Mass Media interviews or on any communications/lectures/ conferences the graduate will make in the future for his/her local and/or national health practitioners and beekeepers associations.
Final Exam of the Apitherapy Internet Course (general structure)
After 100 Lessons and answers to hundreds of possible questions, the time of final examination will arrive…Εach student will have enough time (24 hours) to give the answers to the 100 possible questions. The questions will be mainly from the given Lessons, but it may touch also non-discussed but related subjects. In order to pass the Exam, one needs at least 70% correct answers. The students who will pass this examination will receive the course's diploma (certification of completion) through normal mail. The students who do not pass this exam first time, will be offered the chance to participate two more times in future similar exams. If after two other tests the student is still unsuccessful, he/she will need to go one more time through all AIC levels as any other new student.
Certification of AIC
The Diploma obtained by a successful final exam student will show interested parties that that student has a strong theoretical bases in apitherapy. Of course, unless the local laws permit it, this diploma does not means that a person which took part to AIC can immediately open an Apitherapy Office or a Clinic! Finally what is important is your desire to learn and to help other people to have a healthier life, not passing examination papers.
3 . Σεμινάριο Μελισσοκομία – Ινστιτουτο Γεωπονικων Επιστημων – Κτημα Συγγρου
Το Ι.Γ.Ε. αναλαμβάνει κάθε χρόνο την πραγματοποίηση μίας σειράς σεμιναρίων βραχείας διάρκειας για την επιμόρφωση σε αγροτικές δραστηριότητες και την περιβαλλοντική ευαισθητοποίηση των πολιτών και ειδικά της νέας γενιάς. Τα σεμινάρια πραγματοποιούνται εντός του Κτήματος Συγγρού, σε αίθουσες του κτιρίου διοίκησης και στην αίθουσα πολλαπλών χρήσεων. Τα θεματα, τα οποια εξεταζονται ειναι τα εξης :
• Η μελισσοκομία στην Ελλάδα, την Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση και διεθνώς
• Δομή και λειτουργία του εντόμου, συμπεριφορά και βιοοικολογία των τριών
μορφών της μέλισσας και εφαρμογή τους στη μελισσοκομική πράξη.
• Μελισσοκομική χλωρίδα, μελιτογόνα είδη, τεχνητή διατροφή, παραγωγή
βασιλισσών, εχθροί και ασθένειες, δηλητηριάσεις μελισσών
• Τα προϊόντα της κυψέλης, εγκατάσταση και λειτουργία μελισσοκομικής μονάδας
• Ο μελισσοκόμος ως ερευνητής
• Επιδοτήσεις και ενισχύσεις στη μελισσοκομία.
Τα μαθήματα γίνονται δύο φορές την εβδομάδα, απογευματινές ώρες (17.00-20.00). Η συνολική διάρκεια κάθε σεμιναρίου είναι 100 ώρες (4 μήνες). Στη διάρκεια των μαθημάτων γίνονται θεωρητικές εισηγήσεις καθώς και πρακτική εξάσκηση, ενώ μοιράζονται σημειώσεις και βιβλία. Μετά την επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση του κύκλου των σεμιναριακών μαθημάτων χορηγείται πιστοποιητικό παρακολούθησης.
